Lemon-Herb Compound Butter
Serve this fresh and lemony herbed compound butter with your favorite bread or use to enhance pasta, chicken, steak, fish and vegetable dishes.
Ingredients.
- 1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped shallot
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 and half teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
How to make.
- Place butter into bowl. Add all remaining ingredients; stir to combine.
- Divide compound butter in half; place butter halves onto sheets of parchment or waxed paper. Fold up sides of paper; use hands to form into log shape approximately 6x1 1/2 inches. Twist ends of paper to seal.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hour or until firm enough to slice. Store in refrigerator 1 week or up to 3 months in freezer.
